The life-force in shape of a rainbow-snake - kundalini - coils itself up the tree of knowledge, starting at tabula rasa and working itself up through knowledge, science and facts. In the background is a fallen tree and a dead snake - such things that happen if the snake is fed with religious nonsense and similar poisons instead of facts.
