      Found in isolation the virtues of survival bleed for the hungry. Alone a need is found in skill, will and ability. Cubs grate the cold earths comfort, to support a worthy cause save the wolf.

      Its sooo sad I think that the wolf is Larka (a white wolf from a book called the sight) and her spirt is looking after the forest (she dies in the book)

      Wow, this is really something. Symbols I see... the painting is a sort of contrast, with one side being dark and one light... the wolf, itself being a being of light, is lost and alone in the darkness. I also sense a sort of happiness in the wolf's expression... as if he's glad about something... perhaps about what his despair in the darkness has tought him?

      I don't see the sadness in this work at all! I see a masterly wolf surveying its territory in the early morning before the mist has lifted off the forest. I like the "at attention" of the ears. Very nice indeed.
