Look at the stuff you've sold so far, is it possible to extract some "trends" from that data? If so, do you find it possible to combine your need to express yourself with what you know will sell?
Reward people in your surroundings if they help you find buyers, you can reward them with up to 50% and still make profit. Aim for finding art dealers and such instead of galleries, it's better to have your art on the market constantly than having costly exhibitions a few times per year.
