Get rid of pebbles in your running shoes.

Bli av med grus i löparskorna.

When during a longer run the other day I had to stop four times in order to empty my shoes from pebbles I realized that something must be done.

So, well at home again I took out the inner soles from my running shoes and drilled a 6 mm hole in each sole where the pebbles used to gather. And lo and behold! During my most recent 20 or so kilometre run I didn't need to empty my shoes one single time.

När jag under en längre springrunda häromdagen fick stanna fyra gånger för att tömma smågrus ur skorna insåg jag att jag måste göra något.

Så, väl hemma tog jag ur innersulorna ur mina löparskor, borrade i vardera sula ett ca 6 mm stort hål där gruset brukade samlas, och tro det om ni vill, men under senaste tvåmilspasset längs grusiga skogsstigar behövde jag inte stanna för att tömma ur skorna en enda gång.

Det är bland de bästa långdistansskor som finns, tyska. Inga skor för nybörjare då de är måttligt dämpade. Det är faktiskt Lidl som tar hem ett fåtal par någon gång per år.
