In the glider's cockpit

Under de dagliga springturerna runt Sidsjön har det varit svårt att undgå att lägga märke till att sjön också används som flygfält för glidflygplan under soliga vinterhelger.
Så, varför inte hänga på sig kameran och hänga med?

During the daily running tours around lake Sidsjön it has been hard to miss that the lake also is used as an airstrip for glider planes during sunny winter weekends.
So why not bring the camera and join for a ride?

OK, så nu sitter jag i cockpit, jag är väl ungefär en decimeter eller så för lång, men man får väl anpassa sig. Nedanför är planet som ska bogsera upp oss.

OK, now I'm seated in the cockpit, I'm about four inches or so too long, but what the heck, one is adaptable.
On the left is the plane which will pull us up.

as we sail across the sky no longer visible to the eye we're free from reality we are the ones you cannot see keep on gaining altitude higher and higher, me and you until the earth is a bright blue dot until each other is all we've got glider rider in the sky take me with you for a while life is so hard to live down here take me with you way up there
